Evelien Kremer, Marisa Martienus and Mariska Versteegh went to volunteer in Ecuador. They met at hostal Loro Verde in the tourist district of La Calama. They worked with children in shelters Centro Myra, Jesus Nino and San Roque. They faced the severe shortage of help for underage, single mothers. Sitting on the street and begging with a child on their arm, they go through life. Without future dreams and hopes. Therefore, they decided to join hands and establish a foundation under the name “Ninos de Waita Ticca.”
